Monterey Bay.

This is Monterry Bay from route SR-1 going down from Los Gatos. Its quite a good view, and the photo does not really do it justice.

This is looking Cannery Row in Monterey. Nice view - you'd never realise its from the top of the car park!

These are some of the fish in the Aquarium... OK, this is one small photo, but I tell you, this place is HUGE!! We have signed up as members for the year as we expect to bring numerous visiting friends and family to this place. If you are in California, check it out!

This is a Alex outside the back of the aquarium looking back towards Seaside (yes, that is the name of the place..!) and down Cannery Row.

This is an example they use to show you what kind of craft they used to go out and collect samples. Alex found it was useful as a spaceship/plane/boat and something I could not get the grasp of. It is, however, a boat.

Inside the Aquarium, there are all sorts of local aquatic life that has been taken from the Monterey Bay Area (it is also returned a few weeks/months later!). The above tend to make you think twice about going back for a swim!

Like Pier 39, there is a Bubba Gump restaurant at Cannery Row in Monterey. Above you can find Stoogette and Stoogette Mk II (Twins) each with a foot in Forrest's shoes... Spot the box of chocolates and suitcase also on the bench.
