For a number of years we have owned a timeshare at originally Barratts Dona Lola at Calahonda, now owned by MacDonalds Hotels.

It is located between Malaga and Marbella in Southern Spain in Calahonda.

Unfortunately, despite it being a really nice location, there seems to be a real lack of photo's of the resort...

So, we took a few photo's whilst we were there and added them to the site.

These are views of the bridges over the curved swimming pool.

This is one end of the pool. The windows to the right hide the Restaurant area where you can get drinks and food during the day and in the evenings.

Besides the pool is one of three waterfalls scattered around the resort.

These are high views from above the right hand side of the pool.. the (shallow) kiddies section is to the right of the white bridge. 

The apartments are separated by sculpted gardens of palms and other greenery.

Bring right on the Mediterranean sea, Dona Lola has wide views of the sea, all the way down to Gibraltar and across the water to the African Atlas mountains.
