18th Jan 2004 Been busy adding photos and reorganising the site... Check out the Photos section for updated places and family photos... The Kids Xmas 03 photo, and my recent trip to Paris (for the day) are also updates...
7th June Finally, I have had time to add our Florida 2001 photos to the site... Yes, its been a long time coming, but there was a lot to go through(!) Includes Disney, Kennedy Space Centre and Universal Studios. 1st June 2003 We have had family visits and have some more photos of Owen here

May 2003 I found the Cancer research site has been updated, so the front page links didn't work anymore... Fixed! Please take the time to check the Grig.Org site out... It costs nothing, but could make a significant difference in your future. December 2002 Wow.. Over a year and still not had a lot of time to do any updates on this site - sorry! I spent two months touring the globe and working like the devil himself.. (not literally!). BTW, I got a mail informing me that I had "lost" part of the site... that would be the section on the Redwoods between Silicon Valley and Santa Cruz - Big omission... That is now fixed :) The big news is that Jennifer is Pregnant again, and we are expecting the patter of tiny feet in May, 2003. Hope to get some time to do the site update.. maybe over Xmas! September 2001 We have moved back from the US to the UK, and finally got a decent network connection to allow us to update the (somewhat large!) WebSite! 21st October Added a copy of photo's of Michelle wearing her new dress and sunglasses.. 12th October Added photo's of Dona Lola, our timeshare resort in Spain. 24th April We have been to Yosemite! Check out the pictures.. 29th March Been a touch busy, so have not had much time to add to the site. But, I have been able to add some more photo's, so check out the Michelle, Stoogette, and General Sections. 19th February Added a couple of photo's to Michelle's area.. including a nice one of Alex and Michelle Sitting together. To see them, Click Here 6th February We have a new family member, namely, Spike. As is befitting of a new family member, he has a page dedicated to him on the WWW site... To see what Spike looks like you need to Click Here 8th January Statistics can be found via the icon at the bottom of the Home Page Also, I have modified the structure of the site (again!) to make things a little more easy to find your way directly into the appropriate place in the site, without having to always go via the main home page. 2nd January 2000 Well, we seem to have through unscathed with the Y2K rollover.. all the kit continues to work, and StoogieNet continues to function well. 1st January 2000 Happy new Year to all the people visiting this page. 23rd December 04:00!! The worst happened yesterday... decided to finally get around to checking the firewall PC (ancient 200Mhz PII) for Y2K compliancy... Guess what... FAILED! So, the old machine has had its guts ripped out and migrated into the new machine, namely a PIII 500Mhz built by yours truly. I am amazed to say it worked first time, having had all the bits moved over... NT complained rather a lot, and I ended up doing the install with Diskette rather than doing the CD Boot bit. Anyway, now we are seeing much faster throughput on the firewall than before which is good news too. Just finished getting it working.. only took about six hours in total.. I think that's good!? I guess so. :)
18th December Today I upgraded to FrontPage 2000... at $59 it seemed like a good idea... Well, we'll see. It seems to be very different to FP98 in that it does things with files as opposed to using the Personal Web Server to access and update the files. We'll see... 14th December We are ONLINE!! Finally got the cable modem working, and running following a couple of irate phone calls to AT&T @Home. I think the promise to send the cable modem back in a paper bag may have done the trick, anyway we are online now. So, you finally get to see what has been added to the WWW site. Enjoy! Stoogie & Stoogette 10th December Still no Internet connection due to "problems at the node", so this little lot is still only on my PC! They have a "line crew" scheduled to check out the fibre... here's hoping. This entry is here for completeness so when you do come on here you will understand why things were held up. 5th December We have had a busy weekend, and have added photos of Monterey and the Redwoods to the California section. 3rd December I heard today that I am now the proud owner of the domain "Stoogie.Com"... This means the web site can be accessed as http://www.stoogie.com, and you can mail us as Stoogie@Stoogie.Com and Stoogette@Stoogie.Com - all a lot easier than the previous URL and email addresses! As this will be far easier to work with, parts of the WWW site will be updated to reflect the new name and laid out differently. 25th November 1999 This message comes to you from the West Coast of the USA as opposed to Oxfordshire! Stoogie, Stoogette and the siblings have made it to California! We touched down on the 20th November following a few issues with the Visa and the fact you cannot make a one-way flight to the USA on the waiver scheme. Anyhow, we are all now L visa holders, and have begun our stay here. The few weeks between the last post and this one have been most traumatic, and things looked bad at time with the family health. However, things have brightened significantly. Those of you who know us will know the story, those of you who dont, well, sorry, but its personal. Suffice to say it is impressive to see how many people will step forward when someone is ill and needs support. Thanks to you all. This update is a little ahead of time, as I do not have my Internet connection yet. I expect to have this on the 7th Dec, at which point this will be uploaded. We have opted (well, it was a small list :) ) for the AT&T @Home Cable Modem, which hopefully will blaze away - it is apparently comparable to a 1.5Mbps circuit and provides things like Video on demand and the like - all very cool and a great leap forward from the maximum 44Kbps I was getting in Bicester! Based on what they are saying, a file that would take 4 and a half minutes to download at home will take 2 seconds... I make that 750K a second... if that's true... wow!! Anyway, back to the unpacking.. 25/11/99 to Early November 1999 The WWW site and ourselves will be going rather quiet for this time... Stoogie and the clan are moving to the USA with work, and as result the PC we use to design and manage the site is being boxed up and shipped to our new location in Cupertino. Also, during this time the Stoogie and Stoogette mail addresses will go unanswered, so accept our apologies in advance. We look forward to the benefits of DSL and faster Internet connection in the USA !! Stoogie and Stoogette 11/9/99 Just got back from the Dr Solomon's 1999 Reunion party... 30/8/99 Here's the latest news!! The Stoogies are moving to the Good 'Ole US of A. Stoogie has been offered a job in Santa Clara, California in the heart of Silicon Valley for a few years, so we are upping sticks and moving over. If you are family or friends, contact us for more details. The move will probably happen in November '99, with Stoogie Pond (Atlantic) hopping between now and then. Click here for a look see of what Stoogies view will be out of his office window... 5/8/99 Well, have not had a lot of time to update the news section for some time, with frequent trips to the USA, and other exotic places like South Africa, Denmark and Birmingham. There is more major news in the making, which I can't stick up here quite yet, but if you know me, mail me ;) 25/5/99 Life is still not dull! The Photo Album has been split down a little into sections to allow easier viewing. There are now specific Alex and Michelle areas with a couple more photo's being added. Added a new ring to the Aylesbury Community Concert Band part of the site, namely the Cycle of fifths ring. This seems to be more generic than the Wind/Brass bands theme of the WindBands ring I manage, but is still useful to be included in it.
2/5/99 Things are doing their normal "we have just a got a kid home, and all chaos has ensued". Nights are not restful and we are looking forward to her sleeping through the night - or even most of it :) Added a Windbands WebRing for the musicians amongst our guests to peruse or join. 22/4/99 Michelle is settling in nicely at home, and has lost the blotchy look. Night #1 was not too bad. Added some Family shots into the photo album. 20/4/99 Michelle May was born at 13:40 today, weighing in at 7lb 1oz... check it out... 19/4/99 Just added my first bit of JavaScript ever... a Millennium countdown on the main page... Cool! 15/4/99 Updated a couple of pages, the Photo Album, with Stoogette Reclining, and the Eggbert's Page and Gallery 14/4/99 Decided today to add a News area to the WWW site... seems like a good idea, we'll see how it goes on... its mainly for the friends and family who visit the site, but hey, you can be nosey too :) Stoogette is still heavily pregnant, and walking like John Wayne... The sprog was originally due on the 26th March, then 9th April, and finally 16th April. You would think in today's world of technology they would be a little more accurate!! When it is born, check out the Photo Album for piccies :) I am very pleased with the way the Aylesbury Band pages I host here have been so popular. There have been over 125 hits since its creation in early February. We have started adding some more areas to the site, such as Stoogette's Wade and our Eggbert's pages.
