Like many of the people that regularly visit this site, Alexander is a total BMC/BL/ARG/Rover car nut! He owns what can only be described as a one-man museum, which includes some real rarities, such as a left-hand drive Austin 3-Litre. What makes Alexander unusual in BL circles is that he lives in Germany, and not Birmingham! His cars are varied, and can be seen below.
This is absolutely Alexander's pride and joy: his magnificent left-hand drive Austin 3-litre.
...and if you own a 3-litre, you really should get hold of a copy of its smaller brother, the "Land Crab"!
...and if you own a "Land Crab", you should get a copy (or maybe two) of its smaller brother, the Maxi! (note the Crayford MG convertible parked next to it).
Alexander's immaculate MkII Austin ADO16 looks good in the early evening sun...
Another ADO16: This time, the attractive and very elegant Vanden Plas Princess, in a nice, dark colour - Wild Moss.
Alexander's 1989 Maestro 1.3LS looks good with its Vanden Plas style chromed door mirrors and Montego wheel trims.
This Rover 216GSi looking remarkably like it did when it rolled off the Longbridge production line, back in 1991. Note the optional alloy wheels and leather interior.
And here are his Maestros... count them - yes, three! The maroon model in the middle is a 1.3LE (HLE in the UK) and the rearmost is obviously an MG Maestro.
Alexander lines up his cars in formation squint and you could almost be at a BLMC dealership in the early Seventies!
So extensive is Alexander's collection that (some of) it was featured in Auto Bild magazine.
