Modesty forbids me from writing too much, so here are some pictures of my Princess.
Photographed at the site of the former Leyland/British Leyland foundry at Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. The dilapidated sign is all that is original that remains at this site. Unfortunately, this story is repeated across the land (Speke, Canley, Abingdon, Solihull, Swindon, et al).
The Princess in possibly its least flattering colour (after white) - my other half says it is the colour of "Red Leicester", which is ironic, given how wedge-shaped the ADO71 is!
Princess in full "Wedgy" glory (photographed by Matthew Hayward).
