Spikins Allegro convertible

Soon after the Allegro was launched, Twickenham-based company Spikins saw the potential for a convertible version, which retained the frames of the side windows in a manner somewhat reminscent of the Morris Minor Tourer.

While this may have made the car look a little untidy with the roof down, it has to be said that with the roof up, it is hard to tell at first glance that this is anything other than a standard 2-door Allegro.
