The Marina was developed in double-quick time following the formation of BLMC, with the aim of providing the company with a car to take on the Ford Cortina.

Morris Ital
In 1980, the Marina was (mildly) transformed into the Ital with the help of Giugiaro's Ital Design studios in Turin. |
