	£	GAMBELLARA CLASSICO DOC 1997 This wine is a light fruity, easy drinking white wine from a good producer at an extreamly reasonale price. Having aid all that it has an alcohol level of 12%!. This wine was voted the top Gambellara by the other producers.
		GAMBELLARA CLASSICO VIGNETI CA'CISCHELE DOC 1997 A cru Gambellara from the south facing vinyard abutting the cantine. The wine has an intense floral and vivacious aroma with a complete and wonderful aromatic flavour.
		RECIOTO di BAMBELLARA VIGNETO RIVA dei PERARI DOC 1995 A wonderful heavy fruity sweet aperitif or even dessert wine made in the traditional manner. Absolutely marvellous.

LE SALETTE

One of the few Veneto producers to warrant a mention in Parker's Wine Buyers Guide the Scamperie family have, for three generations, been producing some incredible wines. The vinyards are split into three of the best locations in the Fumane area of Valpolicella and are produced by traditional methods with no chemical fertilisers.

	£	VALPOLICELLA CLASSICAO DOC 1995/6/7 At its best Valpolicella should be an exhuberant, fruity, velvety wine. This wine is all that and more for this is what Valpolicella Classico should be all about.
		VALPOLICELLA CLASSICO SUPERIORE I PROGI DOC 1995 VALPOLICELLA CLASSICO SUPERIORE I PROGI DOC 1995 A single vinyard wine in the upper reaches of the Fumane area this wine was in the second category in the tasting of Valpolicellas in Decanter in January 1997. It is a wine of bright ruby colour with a delicious fresh and clean nose of cherries, clean on the palate and is simple but elegant and very well made.
		VALPOLICELLA CLASSICO SUPERIORE CA' CARNOCCHIO DOC 1995 VALPOLICELLA CLASSICO SUPERIORE CA' CARNOCCHIO DOC 1996 This wine was one of the top six wines in January 1997's Decanter tasting of Valpolicella. This wine is well made, youthful and modern with good structure and fruit.
		AMARONE delle VALPOLICELLA CLASSICO LA MAREGA 1992 AMARONE delle VALPOLICELLA CLASSICO LA MAREGA 1993 AMARONE delle VALPOLICELLA CLASSICO LA MAREGA 1994 This wine has to be one of the best value wines on the list. It is incredible in its depth and structure for just when you think that you have tasted everthing it comes up and gives you more. The texture is pure silk, the fruit is astounding, the nose wonderful and the colour marvellously deep.
		PASSITO BIANCO CESARE 1993/4 (37.5cl bottle) A wonderfully deep fruity dessert wine, or aperitif. This wine will go wonderfully with amaretto biscuits, foie gras and Christmas pudding.

		MARZEMINO dei COLLI TREVIGIANI PASSITO (50cl bottles) An unusual wine for it is a sweet red wine made from the Marzemino grapes. If you like sweet wines then why not try all our sweet wines.

		BREGANZE BIANCO DOC 1995/6 A dry, balanced and fruity flavour characterises this bright straw coloured wine made from Tocai.
		BREGANZE PINOT BIANCO DOC 1996 A wine full of that special Pinot grape flavour, exceptional value for money.
		BREGANZE PINOT GRIGIO DOC 1996/7 A very good value Pinot Grigio from the Venete which has good structure, flavour and all the ingredients of a good wine.

	£	SOAVE DOC 1996/7 A very good quality Soave from a ver good small producer. This wine should not be drunk too cold otherwise those loverly delicate aromatic flavours will be destroyed for here we have a wine which is quintessential Soave.
		SOAVE BISSONCELLO DOC 1996 The top of the range of the ordinary Soave which is well worth the small extra cost.
		SOAVE CLASSICO DOC 1996 Another terrific value wine for its price. This wine has depth, structure, fruit and lenghth on the papate. A truly great Soave.
