Harris Hotlines were regular promos sent to retailers, starting in the autumn 1992 and continuing up to autumn 1997 (as far as I know). These later issues show how the editorial was pitched more at retailers as if they were fans running comic shops rather than simply retailers (but then perhaps most comic shop owners are). |

Summer 1994 "We're back" are the first words on the front cover. This issue apologises for late delivery of Vampirella and wisely has waited for several issues of Vengeance of Vampirella to prove itself. Great shot of Cathy Christian as the Vampirella model (right) and a wonderful full page pin up of Vampi herself drawn by Buzz in the centre page. lots of promos for future issues. |

Winter 1994 Winter 94 is Vampi, Vampi, Vampi all the way. Issues #8, #9 and #10 of Vengeance of Vampirella are promoted, as is Vampirella #0 from the original color series. This Hotline also announces the Visions of Vampirella card set from Topps, and the Chains of Chaos series. |

Spring 1995 The first Vampirella crossover (teaming Vampi with ShadowHawk from Image Comics) is announced, and the dominance of Vampirella in the Harris world is now very apparent. No-one else is mentioned. Look at the cover for Vengeance #11 (top of page on right). It isn't the one that eventually came out, and the story was renamed from 'Pits of Hell' to 'The Pitz'. |

Spring/Summer 1995 The Mystery Walk is previewed in this Hotline, and the description makes it sound like one juicy story for the Vampirella fan (as we all found out when we read it). The other thing you notice on reading this Hotline is that the number of Vampirella comics is increasing as the Vampirella Classic series is also announced (see right). |

Fall/Winter 1995 Although The Rook is featured on the cover just open up this Hotline and drink in the fact we have got a lot of Vampirella around. First Vengeance of Vampirella, then Vampirella Strikes, the continuation of Vampirella Classics and finally the Vampirella Pin-Up Special is announced. Believe me, we never had it so good. |

Spring 1996 We've got three separate Vampirella comics going in this promo - Vengeance of Vampirella, Vampirella Strikes and Vampirella of Drakulon. Those were good days for the fans. This issue contains an interview with Tom Sniegoski and Amanda Conner (see right) and really does feel like a fan magazine rather than a retailer promotional literature. |

Summer 1996 If you want to feast your eyes on some of the most seductive images of Vampirella then this Hotline is the place to go. Inside are multiple images (right) and the centrefold is a Mark Texeria painting that oozes life. The 25th anniversary for Vampirella has arrived. This Hotline celebrates it in style. |

Autumn 1997 Is this a Hotline? I don't know, but it has the same feel so I've included it. The brilliant Vampirella Monthly series is about to start, and this promo holds nothing back. I love the centrefold of the Jae Lee alternative cover for Vampirella Monthly: Ascending Evil #1. |
