This miniseries is special for two reasons. The first is that Harris introduced a model photo cover for the first time, and did so in style by launching the series with four alternate covers of the same model, Sascha Knopf. Later issues contained a limited edition cover as well as the regular cover. The second reason is that the series tended to fall outside the regular Vampi storyline. However I have placed the stories in Vampirella Strikes into the timeline as best I can. Vampirella Strikes was originally called Vampirella Tales but the name was changed later. I think I prefer the 'Strikes' name. |

Wow! Four issues of the Vampirella model Sascha Knopf. There was also a Dynamic Forces edition of the regular cover signed by Tom Sniegoski and Ed McGuiness, and a special Dynamic Forces collection signed by Tom Sniegoski containing issues #1 and #2 in a special folder. However, my collection also includes a signed copy from a 1995 con signed by sascha Knopf herself, plus Tom Sniegoski and Ed McGuiness. For a photo of this signing click here. |

Vampirella Strikes #3 Another of my favourites, the cover by Rudy Nebres hearkens back to the classic science fiction pulp covers of the 1930s. |

Vampirella Strikes #6 These two covers must be the sexiest ones of Vampi so far, although it would be a hard choice because of the quality of so many others. Introducing a weird tale inside, these covers hint at the dark deeds revealed inside. The alternate cover is a rare treat, and the Dynamic Forces signed edition is limited to only 500 copies. |

Vampirella Strikes Annual #1 For my money the alternative cover for the Vampirella Strikes Annual is one of the best. Vampirella is almost waif-like despite the horror of what she has just done, as she licks the blood from her hand. An excellent and very collectable cover. |
