Vampirella 16 The usual three covers, in a pattern that is going to continue into the foreseeable future. But there's something very eerie about the regular cover - is Vampirella as helpless as she appears to be with her wrists shackled outside the bars making her a vulnerable target to the 'pack' behind her - and are the boys the same as the werewolves in the story. We are never told. |

Vampirella 20 As this story arc begins to close, the regular and alternate covers are perhaps two of the most contrasting covers ever. Joyce Chin's alternate cover is dreamy, romantic, not at all like the real-world, representing the real and dream worlds in the story. This cover also reminds me of the Michael Kaluta covers for the Morning in America series. |
