The
very first Vampirella Color series for Harris was this 'color' series, which
was published between 1992 and 1994. There were
relatively few alternate covers, although Vampirella Zero did notch up
some limited editions. Harris had initial problems with their schedule as
the comics arrived late and infrequently, making these comics difficult to
find nowadays.
The
alternate cover for Vampirella #1 was released in November 1996 to
celebrate 25 years of Vampirella.

Vampirella
#0 This
landmark issue (because it really starts to develop Vampi's new origin
as the daughter of Lilith) came in four different issues. The ultra rare
Royal Blue version was only available from Comics Cavalcade, but in
early 2003 a few copies became available again from Diamond. There are two different
Dynamic Forces signed versions of #0, one signed by Jimmy Palmiotti and
Joe Quesada (limited to 1,000 copies) and the other signed by Jimmy Palmiotti,
Joe Quesada and Tom Sniegoski (limited to 2,500 copies). This
version has the signatures on the outside of the acetate wrapper. |

Vampirella
#1 This
comic was the first Harris colour comic for Vampirella, and the initial
print had both a regular cover and a signed cover from Comics Cavalcade
(limited to 1,000 copies) which was sold in a superb rigid clear plastic
cover with COA (certificate of authenticity). The
Commemorative cover is a reprint (unlike most of the Harris alternative
covers) and provided a cheap alternative for fans who had missed the
original and couldn't afford the high prices charged on the first issue. |
