Calendars are an obvious collector's dream, especially as they tend to be produced annually and have a limited shelf life before you need the next one. So far Harris have produced 4 Vampirella calendars to cover the years 1995, 1996, 2000 and 2001. They are rich, lush items, full of large pinup pictures of our favourite Drakulonian. The earlier ones are collector's items now, basically available on eBay and occasionally in stores. They can be highly priced (anything from $10 to $50) and are truly worth collecting. The latest (2001) is published by Harris again and for my money is the best so far. It's smaller, but the images are more immediate and the design is modern and has more impact. While most of the pictures are covers from later comics the calendar shows them off much better. The December pic of Julie Strain in a Father Christmas cap is just wicked. |

1995 The first - contains birthdays of characters in the Vampirella universe (Vampirella's birthday is November 9th). |
