Vampirella has been with us for over 30 years now, and a few characters in the comics have shared her life for some of that time. Few have made it from the very start to today, but both Adam van Helsing and Pantha have done well and are still there. There have been good guys and bad guys, and this section of my site looks at a few of both. I have chosen those I feel have either been a major influence on Vampirella herself or on the comic, or those that I feel deserve a mention. Doubtless others will follow in the fullness of time. For sheer length of time Adam van Helsing must remain the favourite. He has been there since the very beginning, first as an enemy then a friend and finally her lover. Yet how is Vampirella drinking his blood, as in the picture on the right? The answer is to be found in Warren's Vampirella #12, in one of my all-time favourite stories ... |
