AMCHALLENGE Sponsors and Links

Many people and organisations have provided invaluable help and support in helping me meet Amchallenge.  Below I have outlined who they are and what they have done.  I would like to thank them all.

Link to MD Campaign The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign and their press, public relations and special events teams have spent time and energy helping me put AMCHALLENGE together.  Without them, none of this would have happened.  A very special thank you to them.
Link to the Lions Club The Lions Club of Chipping Norton have donated the Aluminium panniers for my bike.  They are also staged an open golf day at Lyneham Golf Club, Oxfordshire to help raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy campaign.

Link to Metzeler

CPK Moto are the UK distributors for Metzeler and  very kindly agreed to provide all the tyres for the trip.   I used Metzeler Enduro 3s.
Link to Ride Drive Ride Drive provides advanced motorcycle riding courses with serving police officer trainers.  The team is headed by Graham Owen who, apart from donating free advanced rider training,  has provided endless contacts, acquired clothing and been the source of invaluable help and advice.
Link to Motorcycle-UK The Motorcycle-UK website, developed by Sue Assender.  Sue herself   donated a space in her marquee at the BMF Show at Peterborough  and at Beaulieu.  She  also provided contacts, advice and unflinching support.
Link to Bracken MW The guys at Bracken were kind enough to give me a discount on a large amount of goodies that I took from them.
Link to Honda UK hondaltr.gif (1786 bytes) UK have given their full endorsement to AMCHALLENGE.  They   also  provided a lot of the spares required during the journey.
Atkinson Courage logo Hamish Goddard at Atkinson Courage, a sports marketing and PR company,   provided constant support for my journey.  He was instrumental in securing sponsors and media coverage and was an endless source of advice, encouragement and inspiration.
Link to Hein Gericke Hein Gericke very kindly donated, free of charge, a complete rally suit.   It is perfectly suited for the job, with removable linings and plenty of pockets.   It is weather proof and looks the business too.
Link to Gaerne The team at Tranam gave me a very healthy discount on a pair of Gaerne GXS Enduro boots.  They are specifically designed for the kind of stuff this trip   threw at them.  They also complimented my rally suit perfectly!
Link to PDQ The nice people at PDQ  agreed to sort out the suspension on the bike - much needed due to all the extra weight.  They  also donated K&N air filters - A big help.

   FRETTONS OF LEAMINGTON

These guys are my dealers, where I bought the bike.  It is a super, family run business, where they provide tea and biscuits as you talk about bikes.   They very kindly donated materials and gave the bike some tender, free servicing.

ACTIVE

Active, in Banbury, were kind enough to give me a huge discount on a large range of excellent camping accessories, ranging from a tent to cooking equipment.
