I  undertook AMCHALLENGE as a tribute to the memory of my father, Quentin Crewe.  It was Quentin who kindled my passion for travel, teaching me how to look past the obvious and to inquire into the unexpected.  AMCHALLENGE is my way of best remembering my father and all that he taught me. 

AMCHALLENGE was a fundraising venture for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign.  I successfully  raised money from both private and corporate sources.  I achieved  a high level of media exposure to raise the profile of the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign and encourage interest and excitement for AMCHALLENGE.
