Branch
Chairman.
The Branch Chairman, Bryn Shackleton on the right,
presents the Rural Branch six bell striking competition trophy to Bert Ferris, the Tower
Captain of Westerleigh the joint winners with Frampton Cotterell in 1998.
Bryn became Chairman in 1996.
Branch Ringing
Master.
The Branch does not currently have a Ringing Master.
Branch Deputy Ringing Master.
The Branch does not currently have a deputy ringing master.
Branch Secretary.
The Branch Secretary Tony York was
elected secretary at the AGM in 1996 at Tytherington, and rings at Frampton
Cotterell.
Branch Treasurer.
The Branch Treasurer Graham Hemmett was
elected at the AGM in 1997, and rings at Almondsbury.
Management Committee
Representative.
The MC Rep Henry Taysom was
elected at the AGM at Westerleigh in November 2003. He resigned as deputy ringing
master to take up this post which he held some years ago. He has taken over from Don
Haskins who requested not to be re-elected on health grounds.
Henry is an unattached member and rings at a number of towers in the branch notably
Westerleigh.
This post means Henry represents Rural Branch at the Gloucester and Bristol Association
Committee meetings.
