Recorder Players Wanted!
I have recently moved to Cambridge and am looking to join a group of recorder players who enjoy playing baroque music. My partner plays the lute so we'd also have accompaniment. My sight-reading isn't wonderful, but I'd like to develop my experience of playing with others.

MERCURIAL - seeks vocalists, percussionists, cellists and more!
MERCURIAL seeks a number of vocalists, a percussionist or two, a cellist, violinist and anyone who can play an interesting instrument.

MERCURIAL is about blending the rich classical sounds from live instruments and then lacing them with percussion and vocalists. These are then pitched against raw electronic beats and loops.

I'm looking to find anyone with a passion to play the above instruments in a diverse, evolving changeable (hence "Mercurial") collective of musicians, making beautiful sounds with an aim of recording as well as gigging. Bringing the sound to the places where guitar indie rules, breaking down the barriers and taking the music to venues that are a little out of the ordinary too.

Most of the material would be original (i've written loads of material for this but anyone would be encouraged to contribute) although a few carefully chosen covers would also be re-cast in the Mercurial mould.
