677. June Patricia Austin

June was born in Trinidad in 1924. She spent her high school years in Toronto and subsequently lived in Trinidad and Canada, latterly working for Trans-Canadian Airlines. She met Brian Murray Salter, an Australian from Melbourne in England in 1952 and they married in 1953 in Toronto where their first son, Stephen Brian, was born. Shortly after Stephen’s birth, Brian was took a position in Trinidad where other two sons, Adrian Murray and Michael Austin were born. After June died Brian remarried and went to live in England with his wife and daughter.
After school in Trinidad, Stephen attended the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology from where he graduated in accounting. In 1980, he married Jennifer Ann Medina in Trinidad. After various business appointments, Stephen went into academia and is now a professor at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio. Stephen and Jennifer have two surviving children, Erin Kathleen and Ashley Marie.
Adrian worked in the oil industry in Trinidad later becoming a pilot, and then a captain, for British West Indian Airways. He married Michele Anne Mendonca from Georgetown, Guyana in 1986 and they have three children, Jason Adrian, Kevin Michael and Brittany Anne.
Michael grew up in Trinidad and joined the family business there until he migrated to England in 1988, where he has an electrical business in London. He married Beata Anna Drelich, from Poland, and they have two children, Nicholas Drelich and Oscar Michael.


688. Norman Ware Austin

Norman worked as a plasterer in the building trade. He married Charlotte Good in 1943 and they had two daughters.
