Sensing Sculpture
'Sensing Sculpture' is the new tactile sculpture court at Wolverhampton Art Gallery.
The first gallery to explore sculpture through touch, smell, sound and environment as well as sight, 'Sensing Sculpture' looks at all aspects of sculpture: forms, methods, materials and meanings. Themed areas focus on the human body, the natural environment, the industrial, and the found.
Complete with interactive exhibits, tactile pathway and information and audio guide, 'Sensing Sculpture' is a complete sensory experience.
With full lift access, the gallery opens in April 2003.
