Although this postcard was not used it clearly dates from between 1910 and 1930 as the Grand Pavilion, originally called "The Kursaal", and both the Royal Hotel and Old Pavilion can be seen. The large rounded roof, bottom right, belongs to the Fountain Baths. Houses on Temple Walk are above the shops and houses of North Parade beside the A6 trunk road. |
