VOICE CALLS CALLS TO HOUNDS Only to be given by a Hunt Servant. Loo-in to cheer hounds into covert. Yoi-over to cheer hounds over a  fence into covert. (Used nowadays also when cheering hounds over a ride.) Yoi wind him, or Yoi rouse him to encourage hounds to draw in covert. Yo hote, yo hote or Yut, yut, yut. when hounds are at a check to make them get their heads down and hunt. Hoick to Rector means hark to Rector to encourage hounds to go to any hound which may have challenged. Hoick to-gether to encourage hounds to get together. Loo at him when hounds are very close  to their fox. Try back when hounds failing to hit  off the line are cast back. Whoo-whoop when a fox is killed. CALLS ABOUT FOXES All such calls must be delayed until there is no chance of them frightening  a fox so that he alters course, i.e. "is headed". View-ahoo or Taa-leo Called by anybody who is certain that he has seen the hunted fox. Taa-leo back when a fox breaks covert but turns back into it. Taa-leo over when a fox crosses a ride, or runs from one covert to another nearby. Gone-awaway when a fox has gone away  from covert or refuge.
