Welcome to the homepage for Richard P King, the cat. I know a homepage for a cat is a pretty silly idea, but if other cats can have one, why not Richard?
This is Richard sitting in the garden. Some of these images (in most browsers they are indicated by a coloured border) can be enlarged, and with those that can if you move the mouse pointer over them it will change shape. Click on the image, and you will get a larger version optimised for display on a 640x480 screen. The images are 24-bit and in JPEG format.
Richard is actually a cross between a lion and a bear, not a cat, but he’s quite small for a lion-bear so that doesn’t matter. He was born in 1990, so he is currently six years old. He weighs about 16lb or 7 kg, which is a lot when you’re carrying him about; since we got him his weight has gone up by a factor of ten: he weighed one and three-quarter pounds when the picture above was taken. His fur is soft and fluffy, and is really dark brown, though it looks black in most pictures.
