MANTIS Deposition was founded in August 2003, for the manufacture of high-quality UHV deposition components and systems for cutting-edge applications. Product offerings include nanocluster deposition, RF atom and RF ion sources, e-beam evaporators, k-cells and thermal gas crackers.
MANTIS k-cells, e-beam evaporators, thermal gas crackers as well as the smaller ion and atom sources are well suited to research-scale studies in MBE, surface science or PVD. For large-scale production applications, the MANTIS 175mm diameter RF atom source or RF ion source can suit substrates up to 8" and beyond.
MANTIS UHV sources are technologically advanced to ensure the highest reliability, ease-of-use and offer a high performance/cost ratio. MANTIS UHV deposition systems are designed to be extremely versatile with many retrofittable options to meet the demands of future requirements. For example, the deposition of nanoclusters is a leading edge method of producing film characteristics that are unachievable through conventional thin film coating methods. MANTIS provides a complete "turn-key" system solution for this and other emerging technologies.
