SUGGESTED AVIATION LINKS
Although my web-pages have no official connection with AIR-BRITAIN (which I joined in 1956 !), I unreservedly recommend a link to their website http://www.air-britain.com
I learned much from my AIR-BRITAIN colleagues in those early days and I hope that, by way of the Fly-In and the various articles, editorial tasks and monographs over the 50 years, I have put a little back into the organisation, which itself celebrated no less than 50 YEARS of enthusiastic operation in 1998.
On the AIR-BRITAIN pages you will also find more details of the annual Fly-In which will be the 28th such event !
NEXT AIR-BRITAIN FLY-IN
16/17 June 2007 at NORTH WEALD!
Abe has "retired" from leading the annual Fly-In team, although he will still be offering encouragement from the sidelines to the new team If YOU would like to help on the day (or, even better, in the advance planning and organisation) please contact the team co-ordinator as follows:
Phil Kemp, 32 Mountbatten Road, BRAINTREE, Essex CM7 9EZ
Keep an eye on the Air-Britain website for further details.
If you like Fly-Ins with the emphasis on Vintage/Classic aircraft attending, the
GREAT BRITISH VINTAGE FLYING WEEKEND will be held again at
HULLAVINGTON, WILTS, MAY 18TH-20TH 2007
We wish our old friend and A-B supporter, Peter Campbell (a member since 1953), continued success for next year. More details can be found on the Cirrus Associates website at http://www.zolid.com/cirrus
For regularly updated details of Aviation Events, you can do no better than have a look at the lists compiled by Dave Wise and maintained on the Royal Aero Club site at http://www.royalaeroclub.org
For general Aviation Links, we can also recommend Howard Curtis and his website of "over fifteen thousand listed in more than seventy pages!!" . Try his 'AirNet' Web Site at

With this Bookmarked you will not need to keep separate ones !
