Alan Small-Judge. Badger was born of English stock in the United States, becoming the Jack Russell with the most wins in that country. There is no known foreign blood in the Blencathra line for at least fourteen generations. Following K.C. recognition he became the first PJRT to win BOB at a Championship Show(SKC May 1990) and then went on to be the first Parson Jack Russell Terrier to win BOB at Crufts at the age of 6+. In the same Show two of his sons, Tithebarn Tally and Tithebarn Bracken, took first and second places in Post Graduate Dog, while his litter sister, Blencathra Nettle, also returned from the USA, won third place in Open Bitch. Badger has sired 79 pups since his return to the United Kingdom, 40 of them being bitches and he continues to live very happily in Keswick in the English Lake District. |
