Walton EUSTON B:c1880 in Tryddyn Nth Wales to Wm EUSTON & Mary NEWTON. He came to Aust c1904 to gold mine in Wedderburn area before moving to Melbourne and marrying Ella SMITH in 1917. They had 3 children in 1920/23/27 before Walton died in 1930. I have found entries for Walt Hy EUSTON (a marriage in 1913 to Mabel Jane Lines, a son born 1913 to Ruby Easton PRIGG). On Walton's marriage cert it states he is a widower in 1914 but I cannot determine who. I have been informed that a Walter Henry EUSTON married a Mabel Jane LINES in New Zealand but have not bought the cert. The only other information I have is that Walton was a painter & decorator and his father, Wm EUSTON, was a veterinary surgeon.

Guy Grainger guy.grainger@virgin.net England My line of the Eustace family goes back to Bledlow in Bucks. I am descended from Henry Ewstace and Anne Sale who married in Bledlow in 1629/30, through their son John d 1697/8. John left a will proved in 1698. I am further descended from John's youngest son Abraham (1674/5 - 1709) and then from his son also Abraham (bu 1746). My subsequent line passes through the last mentioned Abraham's son Thomas (1739 - 1813 born in Bledlow, died in Pitstone) and then through his son Joseph Eustace (born 1768 Bledlow - died Cheddington 1843). Joseph's daughter Elizabeth (born 1792 Cheddington) married William Thorn in 1817 in Cheddington. Elizabeth was my 4x great grandmother.
Catherine Heustess Smith richard@ipass.net USA I am a descendant of Ellie Hannon Heustess and Elizabeth (Lucas) Heustess. It is my understanding that 3 Heustess brothers came to the US from Germany but I have no idea when. The earliest censuses do not show where one was born. My first citing of an Elhanan (shown as Thanan but on close examination is clearly Elhanan)is on an 1800 census along with a Jesse and a Robert and spelling of "Eustace". My great grandfather, Ellie Hannon Heustess, 1864 - 1928 was married to Autie Octavia (Walters)born in NC. They lived in Hartsville, SC. He was the youngest of 6 children born to E. H. and Elizabeth Heustess. Both of his parents were deceased by the time he was 13; his death certificate shows James W. Heustess and Mary Stuckey as his parents, but I have seen documentation showing he was the son of Elhanan and Elizabeth Heustess so it is my belief that James W. Heustess and Mary Stuckey raised him. I cannot find information on James W. Heustess or Mary Stuckey. I would appreciate hearing from anyone with information on this line of Heustess. E. H. Heustess and Autie Octavia had 3 sons; Samuel, Carl, and Ellie Hannon Heustess. All of them lived in Hartsville.

Martin Wedlock martin.wedlock@ntlworld.com UK I believe that I am a descendant of the Thomas Wedlock who married Elizabeth Eustace in 1814 in Bix. Thomas is my earliest known ancestor at the moment & so I am looking for confirmation of his links with an Elizabeth Eustace. My info says that Elizabeth was the daughter of James Eustace (1767-1844). Elizabeth was born in Bix on the 20/04/1794. She was baptised in Bix, but died & is buried in Hambledon Bucks 29/11/1875. Thomas Wedlock was also buried about 1 year earlier in Hambledon in 26/11/1874. I believe that Elizabeth's parents were James & Sarah Eustace. James was baptised 4/4/1767 in Bix & was buried on 6/9/1844 in Bix. I think that Sarah's maiden name was Goodall. Can any body help? My Wedlock info for this connection came from Colin Allen with whom I share a common Wedlock ancestry.

Heather Gilmartin tgilmartin12@cox.net U.S.A. I am desperately searching for anyone who might have ANY information at all about my great grandmother LUCY EUSTACE. She was placed in a ORPHANAGE called the New York Foundling Hospital in NEW YORK CITY in the year 1899 by a female (possilbly her mother?). She was left there under the name Lucy Eustace (no middle name). She was 13 months old at the time and her date of birth was given as August 17, 1898. The woman that left her there never gave her own name or the father's name. The state of New York has no original record of birth for Lucy Eustace, therefore she had no birth certificate.
