Pursuit is an assault course requiring agility, strength and stamina. The contender gets a few seconds start and a Gladiator chases. Balance beams, rope bridge, hand ladder "tyres" wall, "tyres" higher wall and a sprint to the finish.
Good entertainment, the Gladiators hardly ever win, and if they do it is normally on the hand ladder. One contender used to be a scaffolder and ran over the balance beams leaving his Gladiator well behind.
