Pole-Axe is a pair of 34 foot poles which have to be climbed, while they are rotating, once at the top a button this retracts the opponents rungs and they crash to the mat.
This is one awesome event require explosive power, once the button is hit you fall and even if you win you have to jump. Scared of heights! This will give you nightmares. Hunter and Nightshade are both very good at this, Nightshade with her tall frame and Hunter with his agility.
In 1997 a safety harness has been added this stops the long fall to the mat which caused serious injury to a contender in 1996.
