Play Bridge Every Wednesday at
The Plough, Northfield Avenue, Ealing

HAVE you ever thought of playing bridge but been daunted by established clubs? Or do you enjoy playing bridge already and would like to improve and meet other players?

Now you can learn or improve your bridge in informal surroundings every Wednesday morning at the Plough Inn, Northfield Avenue, West Ealing.

Who We Are

We are a well-established but informal group of bridge players, who enjoy the game and are keen to improve. We meet every Wednesday from 11.00am to 1.00pm at The Plough, 287 Northfield Avenue, Ealing, W5 4XB. The Plough is a spacious friendly pub that has made us welcome each week. The group is led by well-known local teacher Ned Paul.

What We Do

Most weeks we play informal duplicate bridge, usually 12-15 boards. If you have not played duplicate before this is an ideal chance to try this form of the game. Single players are welcome and are guaranteed a partner – Ned always acts as host.

Although we play duplicate bridge, we are more interested in improving than winning and Ned is available throughout for support and advice as required.

New Players Welcome

Newer players are always welcome, especially those with limited club experience and we will soon help you find your feet. You do not need to book in advance and there is no long-term commitment. You merely pay by the session (£6 per person) for those sessions you attend.

Getting There

Click here for a map. The Plough is close to Northfields Piccadilly Line tube station and on several bus routes. The pub has its own car park and if this is full there is street parking available during the hours that we meet.

Playing Duplicate Locally

When you are ready to move on and play at a higher level, why not try club standard duplicate bridge at Ealing Bridge Club. The club meets every Tuesday evening at St Stephen Hose, Little Ealing Lane, just around the corner from the Plough. Full details are on the club website here.
