| Down the years Carlisle United have
appeared quite frequently in various books, but only a
small handful have been published that have been
dedicated to the club itself. This article attempts to
classify all the recent publications that feature United
either directly or indirectly. The list starts
appropriately enough with the First Division season of
1974-75, when a book charting the history of the club up
to that point was published to mark United's remarkable
rise from the depths of Division Four to the pinnacle of
English football. |
