Mystery man As a raw teenager, this defender cum midfielder made his mark in a struggling United side of the early 1990s. So much so that he was still only 18 when a south western city came calling and he left after barely a season of first-team football. He established himself down south and became a regular with full international honours beckoning but never quite being achieved. After a stay of almost eight years he came back up to the North-West and got himself in deep with a famous old club for whom he still turns out on a regular basis.
Who is he ?
Answer: ROB EDWARDS
