A new association has been formed which has the aim of making your voice heard.

Its aims are as follows:-
1) Each and every supporter should have a say in the future of Carlisle
United.
2) To achieve a situation whereby Carlisle United is not owned to a
large extent by one individual company.
3) To purchase shares in the football club.
4) To have a supporters representative on the board of directors.
5) To improve communication between Carlisle United and its supporters.
6) To stress the importance of Carlisle United to the local community.
7) To assist the finances of Carlisle United via player sponsorship and
contributions towards the purchase of players.

Membership is not expensive. The current fees are as follows :-
Adults £10; Child/OAP/Student £5 for one year's membership
Life membership is £50

The current CISA membership total stands at over 100. CISA have already paid one year's kit sponsorship of United captain David Brightwell. Club members meet up for a drink before home games in the A.F.S. Club on Victoria Place.

Recent meetings between the CISA and Carlisle United Football Club have resulted in an agreement to form a Supporters' trust, which will aim to buy control of the club over the next 12 months or so. The trust committee will be formed from existing supporters groups and they will oversee the administration of all the money that is raised. The club will be approaching well known local figures to act as trustees. The supporters will have the opportunity to elect a fans' representative to the board of directors. This representative does NOT have to be a member of the committee.
