Name and address details can be
automatically imported from many other packages on UNIX. Further quality-related
information may then be added. Each supplier may be given a quality rating
based on past performance recorded in the NCR module.
Document references may be entered
relating to the controlled standards the supplier must supply to and/or to the
procedures that must be followed to evaluate the supplier. The last review date
and the next due date may be stored along with the name of the person due to
carry out the review.
As with most modules, there is a
facility to store unlimited free text against each supplier. There is also a
facility that may be switched on for an administrator to be automatically
notified when he/she logs in whether any supplier reviews are overdue.
