The non compliance module is a
powerful module central to the Quality Manager system.
It has links with all of the other
modules and it helps to draw them together and coordinate the flow of quality
related information within the package and hence within the company or
organisation. As one would expect, it has the powerful multi-site capability
found in the other modules.
It can be used to record, organise
and track non-compliances, customer complaints, audit actions, product defects,
equipment/calibration problems and supplier quality problems.
It links with the personnel module to
control actions required of individuals, notifying them of these requirements by
electronic mail and providing them with all relevant information for timely
implementation of corrective action and progression of the non compliance record
(NCR). Responsibility for an NCR may be handed over to as many personnel as
necessary for complete resolution.
The full history of the NCR,
including Reason, Recommended Action, Action Taken texts and the personnel who
have been responsible for it (including timescales involved) are available for
enquiry. Access to this information may be easily set up by the quality manager,
through the menu security module and site code access configuration.
Line managers and appropriate staff
may access appropriate information either in browse mode on screen or by a
number of powerful reports from any terminal or PC in the organisation.
