About the videos...

The following pages contain videos of our Mammoth holiday and as such are probably of no interest to anyone. The footage was taken on Mammoth Mountain, California, in June 1998 with a Panasonic NV-DS5. It was then transferred to my PC using a FAST AV/Master card, edited with Ulead MediaStudio Pro 5 and converted to avi's using the Intel Indeo v 5.06 codecs. The files were then made into progressive downloads using the Intel Indeo 5.0 Progressive Download Publisher Beta 3. The quality should improve as each level of the progressive download arrives and you can view the file as it arrives or save the file out to a local avi at any point, but it's probably best to wait until you have it all at the maximum quality level. Special thanks to Noel, who's helpfully provided me with some web space to store the avis!
