Tupac Huallpa Inca (?-1533)

Tupac Huallpa Inca, a younger brother of Huascar and Atahualpa, had somehow survived Atahualpa's purges of potential rival Incas in Cajamarca. After Atahualpa's death, the Spaniards appointed Tupac Huallpa as a puppet-Inca and ensured he was crowned with great pomp and ceremony. Unfortunately, Tupac Huallpa grew ill on the Spaniard's subsequent march to Cuzco and died at Juaja in 1533.
