The following two pages are made up of a selection of Brian Sefton's paintings of locomotives from various locations around the UK.

Some of the locomotives, such as the famous Sir Nigel Gresley and Schools Class 'Repton' are instantly recognisable in their fully restored form. Other paintings such as The Hare and the Tortoise contrast the restored Hartland with the decaying Sidmouth, or focus on engineering details of the locomotives.

Brian is constantly looking for new subjects for his work and also welcomes commissions from individuals or railway societies. If you would like to discuss a project with him, details can be found on the Contact page.
