Challenge, Adventure Sport and Endurance
An ever-growing listings of Adventure Sport, ultra and other challenge events including the world famous Eco-Challenge which this year takes place in Australia.

McVitie's Penguin Polar Relay. Women from all walks joined together in teams of four to reach the North Geographic Pole. This fully supported expedition hopes to reach the North Pole in early June 1998.



British & Norwegian North Geographical Pole Expedition 1997. Briton David Hempleman-Adams with Norwegian Rune Gjeldnes. The website that followed their unsuccessful expedition. Reports and info. This was the first joint British/Norwegian expedition to the North Pole. David and Rune expect to be back on the ice next spring.
