Beginner / Intermediate groupWe re-started a
jogscotland beginner's group in early April and there are now seven signed up. There is also an improvers group who usually mange a 4-mile run. Both groups meet on Wednesday evenings at Malleny Park at 7.30. (The meeting place will change during the summer as we do more scenic runs).Running Groups

Sunday Regulars:
In early March thirteen of the group plus friends did all or parts of the Water of Leith run to Leith, followed by an extremely good brunch. Some routes and destinations are being checked out for the next brunch run.
Marathon Men!
Congratulations to Peter McGavigan and Richard Sharp who both completed the London Marathon, and to Alex Somerville who completed the Paris Marathon Details are given below, as are all performances by all local runners and folk in the various running groups.
Bus to Britannic Womens 10k
We worked closely with Christina Boxer on the organisation of a bus for Lothian- based runners, and a total of eleven girls from the Currie-Balerno area went along.
