Jogging Groups
The number of folk involved in everything from fun-run to marathons continues to grow, so we've started an eMail update of who is doing what runs over the coming months to help introduce folk and organise transport. If you'd like to find out more visit www.pentlandrunners.org.uk or phone Bob Douglas (449 6105).
Jogscotland
Beginner / Intermediate groupFor those who are not quite ready for any long runs we will re-introduce a
jogscotland beginner's group in early April. This is aimed at almost total beginners or long-time-lapsed runners who want do more than just think about getting started. And if you are a steady, competent runner with that first 5k or 10k looming in the diary, then you can become part of a Wed evening improvers group with last years beginners who have progressed so much they're now planning their summer schedule of races and fun runs. We will meet initially at Malleny Park at 7.30. (The meeting place will change during the summer as we do more scenic runs).Running Groups

Britannic Assurance Women's 10k 18th May
We have contacted Christina Boxer,
jogscotland, co-ordinator suggesting that there is sufficient interest to justify organising a coach from Edinburgh to take competitors through. We haven't yet heard if this will happen, but are hopeful, and we'll let folk know as soon as possible. And finally, the Rigg Race is scheduled for Monday 26th May. It's never to early to start training.
