| Good news for LX all users! It was recently announced on the HPLX Mailing List that The Palmtop Network (http://www.palmtop.net) is moving to a new, faster server! Hopefully, updates should restart fairly soon. |
| On the home front, I've recently used an HTML compression tool on all the pages on the site, which should mean slightly faster loading times. If you do notice any problems, please let me know. |

New competition launched:
- To complement the new Snake competition, you can now submit your scores for Tetris, another game from the unmissable Curtis Cameron collection. As with Tetlix, the game is a clone of the Russian action/strategy classic, the major differences being that Tetris' graphics are far superior and the games tend to last a little longer. (Due to its graphical requirements, Tetris will not run on a 95 LX).

Fun! Games update:
Unfortunately, due to a rather hectic schedule, I have been unable to finish work on the space strategy game for the LX, Star Commander. I have therefore made the source code available so that if any talented (or otherwise!) programmers out there would like to have a go at finishing the game, they can. It should be noted that the code, as it stands, is far from perfect - in fact, a drunk, blindfolded rhinoceros would seem graceful in comparison... Nevertheless, the code is available to download - feel free to have a look, re-write the game from scratch, steal some ideas, etc.
