How it Works
With ETC, employees use ID badges in place of traditional time cards. As employees
swipe
their ID badges through the time clock, In/Out punches are recorded by your
personal
computer which can be located in another office hundreds of feet away.
While your computer is performing its everyday tasks, ETC's data collection
software silently
runs in the background. ETC records all time punches without interfering with any
DOS or
Windows program you are using at the time.
If your computer is turned off or disconnected while the ETC is in use, the system
will
temporarily store In/Out punches (up to 8300.) This feature gives you the added
flexibility of
operating off-line if needed.
Costly manpower is no longer wasted on the preparation, distribution, collection,
and
summation of time cards. Moreover, this sophisticated automation gives you
error-free,
consistent results and eliminates on-going costs associated with old-fashioned
disposable time
cards.
