Hello to any new collectors. If you browse through the web site, it will give you an idea of the selection to be found at the Thimble Society stand. Come and see us any Saturday morning in the famous Portobello antiques market, at no 107 Portobello Road. If you can't come in person, everything you see here [and more] is available by post.
Geoffrey Van Arcade, 107 Portobello Road, London, W11 2QB. UK.

Right of the sign of the red tea pot, in the arcade painted dark green., on the left hand side as you go down the road from Nottinghill Gate, you will find the stand just inside the arcade on your right. Annie and I will be there to show you a delightful range of sewing tools, tape measures, pin cushions, fitted boxes, chatelaines and thimbles.
Also many other small antiques for collectors, vesta cases, scent bottles, bead bags, hat pins, ladies dress accessories, nutmeg graters, tartan ware, posy holders, lorgnettes and whatever else you can think of.
If you collect something not shown in our range of small precious objects, it might be worth enquiring with a phone call, or e-mail.

I aim to update the web site every two weeks, with photos of sold objects left in an information archive.
As I buy all over Europe, every three months there should be exciting new stock from overseas contacts. The items shown will not be the same as those featured in the Thimble Society quarterly magazine [by subscription only] For membership details, see opening web page, and click on to....
