Matt O'Malley has practised and taught Chinese arts in the UK for over 20 years.
Under the tutelage of Grandmaster Khoo since 1977, Matt has trained in the traditional manner in the arts and achieved Mastery of Tai Chi Chuan, Chi Kung , AcuFlexology and other related Taoist arts.
A computer professional since 1976, Matt is currently Chief Executive Officer and President of a world-wide computer software business, Chairman of a Singapore-based company, a board director of a multinational Japanese and UK joint venture company and is also responsible for the business strategy of a UK company.
Being no stranger to work in high stress environments, including a punishing international travel schedule, has allowed Matt to test rigorously the effectiveness of the arts he practises.
Matt set up The Penang Tai Chi Association in St Albans in 1980 and has been actively teaching Tai Chi Chuan and Chi Kung since then. The Tai Chi school is well established, as is Matt's role as Acuflexologist. He is well versed in Eastern philosophy and culture and has unique experience of bridging the culture gap between East and West.
