This Profile represents a child who started with us at 5.5 years old and physically was well behind in the developmental stages. There was no standing, walking, and fine and gross motor were effected Coordination and lack of concentration and motivation with a very withdrawn personality. Four years later in 1997 the child is now independent and walking without aids and the physical progress chart speaks for itself. The child is now a very different child than that we assessed in 1993 and she will be integrated into main stream education after primary with confidence and the knowledge that we are there should she need us.
Chart explanation the pupils are assessed at regular intervals using a comprehensive list of tasks, each task is scored this results in a total score and this indicates whether or not a child is making progress.
