Nursery Group
The nursery group is for 3 - 5 years old and provides children with a Programme to promote all aspects of their development. They work towards developing their social skills, movement ability, speech, communication skills and cognitive functions which will be necessary for future school education. This Programme is again quite complex and carefully graded following continuous assessment feedback so as to develop the personality and the confident child. The Group starts at 8:30 am and continues until 2 pm this will include the lunch period, eating being part of the Programme As the child develops the Programmes are adjusted to suit and the time will come when he/she will move to the preschool group which is the last step before entering the full school group. With all our very young children's Programmes some children may need to build up their Programme time, and for this reason we remain flexible with the timing of the Programmes for some children. Children who attend full time will be the subject of a annual review, to which the parents and any professional involved with the child will be invited, this provides the opportunity to discuss the child's progress and sets objectives for the future.
