Some of the methods that are in use for the academic assessment process

that are currently used at the school

 

Early years/preschool

E.Y.E.S. Early Years Educational Screen

E.M.D.K. Early maths diagnostic kit

B.P.V.S. British picture vocabulary scale (receptive language)

 

Seven to eleven years old

B.P.V.S. E.M.D.K. Mathematics 7-11 years

Shconell basic reading

Dnaiels and Diock test of reading experience

Nael reading analysis


Each child undergoes an initial assessment both physical and academic

a program is provided and monitored at regular intervals.

 

Physical development

This part of the child's development is carefully measured against

a comprehensive list of some 120 pages of set tasks and appropriately scored.

 

This method keeps a close watch on development and allows for fine

tuning in the preparation of the programs.

 

Both physical and academic progress is graphed through out the academic year.

 

These programs are jointly agreed with senior staff with the following input

Conductor Teacher/child's personal tutor

Physiotherapist

Occupational Therapist

Speech and Language Therapist

Educational Psychologist

Child Pediatrician
