Child "A"
This Profile represents a child who started with us at 5.5 years old and academically was well behind his/her chronological age. Physically there was no standing, walking, and fine and gross motor were effected. Coordination and lack of concentration and motivation with a very withdrawn personality.
Four years later in 1997 the child is now independent and walking without aids and the education chart speaks for itself. The child is now a very different child than the one we assessed in 1993 and he/she will be integrated into main stream education after primary with confidence and the knowledge that we are there should she need us.
Chart explanation The red line indicates the age of the child and the relevant tests are compared with the chronological age line indicating where the child is at the time of the test, and showing how far behind/forward he or she is using the age line as a benchmark.
