  Marconi Communications
     Powell & Associates worked with Extraprise in creating a market and competitor analysis system for Marconi, based on an international Customer Relationship Management system (Siebel).
This involved understanding the business requirements, designing the new functionality and ensuring that this did not adversely affect the existing CRM application.


  Diageo plc (UDV)
  Powell & Associates has worked with first IDV (part of GrandMet), then UDV (part of Diageo) before, during and after the merger with Guiness, on a number of international projects in Customer Relationship Management (Siebel),  Product Development processes and Groupware applications.


  BusinessLink Thames Valley
  We helped BusinessLink to publish a non-technical booklet showing the Managing Directors of small businesses how to apply the benefits of e-commerce for their companies.


  London Borough of Brent
  Powell & Associates was approached by our long standing client, the London Borough of Brent to create a number of Internet and Intranet applications including the pilot design for their award winning One Stop Shop.


  CWB plc
  CWB is a IT Consultancy and software developer specialising in the Investment Banking sector. The Director of Consultancy wanted to plan the future direction for this rapidly expanding IT Group in order to broaden their offerings within the sector.
  Powell & Associates were able to analyse the market and provide a model of existing services. From this it was possible to show the consulting areas with the most synergy with existing services and put proposals to the Board.


  The London Research Centre
  Powell & Associates was chosen by the London Research Centre to co-ordinate and promote the use of eBusiness within all London Boroughs. This resulted in the creation of twenty six councils adopting web sites and e-mail facilities in order to serve their residents more efficiently.


The East London & Lee Valley Teleregion
  The East London & Lee Valley Teleregion, a consortium of local government, universities, Business Links and colleges, is funded by the EU in a project to provide advanced telecommunication facilities to an economically deprived area.
Powell & Associates helped them to decide on technology, business plans and the raising of E.U. funds.


  LondonLink
  We were involved in the creation of LondonLink, a user led association to promote the use of electronic communications between major London finance organisations.
  We provided facilitation and technical advice on this project to link organisations using X.400 and Internet technologies.


  British Alcan Aluminium plc
  Powell & Associates advised international manufacturing company in the creation and enhancement of Notes databases to monitor competitor activity.


  Lotus Development (UK) Ltd.
  Back in 1994, we planned and installed E-mail demonstrations at the Networks '94 exhibition for Lotus, permitting interopability between Lotus' products and those of many other software vendors..


  Mica Ltd.
  One of our first assignments was to design and write the technical manuals for this software publishing company. The ability to write clearly and concise has always been one of our many strengths.


  Unilever plc
  We planned and implemented the replacement of legacy E-mail system with LAN based system for major international manufacturing company (Faberge Division, Leeds) linking to a network of 60,000 users and ensuring smooth transition between the systems and transferring these skills to Unilever's own staff.


  Next plc
  Powell & Associates advised this major retail chain on an approach for cost justification of groupware products, including methods of assessing the benefits of business process re-engineering.


  The Open Group
  Working with associates, we designed, conducted, analysed and reported on a number of international telephone research assignments in order to improve the service offered by this international standards body.


  Pfizer plc
  We provided project management for chemical and pharmaceuticals company in the planning, creation and roll out of calendaring and scheduling.


  Surrey County Council
  In the early days of e-mail we worked with Surrey County Council to implement ccMail and user training for their education department in offices across the county.


  ElectricMail
  We assisted this Internet Service Provider during period of intense sales activity, manning exhibition stand, demonstrating Internet product, qualifying leads and creating database of prospects.


  IPAI
  We advised this major international trade association, assessing needs, budgeting and arranging installation of all of its computing resources.


  Westek Ltd.
  Powell & Associates conducted a feasibility study for this hardware reseller, assessing the potential for diversification into software consultancy.
